Sending Official Transcripts
Request official transcripts or marksheets from all colleges and universities you’ve attended. A transcript is considered official if they are issued by the school you attended and sent to the International Admission Office directly by the institution. You must also send proof of any degrees earned.
All documents must be issued in English or accompanied by a certified, literal English translation. If you are sending a certified English translation, you must also submit the official transcript in the original language.
Sending Official Transcripts via Mail
If sending official transcripts via mail, they should be in a sealed envelope with the issuing school’s official stamp on both the document and across the seal of the envelope. Use the following address for mailing any documents:
International Admissions Office
Center for Global Education
Boise State University
1910 University Drive
Boise, ID 83725-1145
USA
Sending Official Transcripts via Electronic
Electronic transcripts can only be accepted as official if they are delivered through an approved transcript service provider. Please use interntl@boisestate.edu as the recipient when sending your transcripts via a secure sending service.
Sending English Proficiency Scores
Submit your official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score to the International Admissions Office (using the address). Make sure to view all score requirements for admission.
You may be eligible to be exempt from submitting additional proof of English proficiency if you have earned or will earn prior to enrollment at Boise State a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from an accredited or recognized institution located in one of the approved countries.
