Travel Grants
The program supports travel to Ph.D. students in good standing by providing up to $1000 per trip for attendance at two scientific meetings. Travel requests should be directed to Program Administration and must include the conference name, date, location, an estimated budget, and proof of presentation at the scientific meeting (e.g., acceptance of poster presentation, seminar, etc.), the major professor should indicate their support of the student’s travel and whether they are able to cover any additional incurred travel costs.
If you plan to travel for a conference or other related event, you MUST have the BMOL program complete your travel authorization form. If you go through an affiliated department (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics), it may take longer to approve the travel; or it may cause a loss of support for the planned travel. We will always work with your major professor and/or other funding offers through our processing of your authorization.
For other travel funding opportunities, go to the Scholarships and Funding section on the Program website, biomolecularsciences.boisestate.edu
