BMOL Seminar Series
All graduate students are expected to attend and participate in the program seminar series (BMOL 598) regardless of whether they are enrolled for credit or not. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from outstanding scientists who have been invited to present their work to our campus community. Graduate students are strongly encouraged to invite scientists that are working in their current research area, or individuals they are interested in collaborating with or establishing a professional network with. Before extending an invitation, please consult with the program office to ensure that the research topic is acceptable, and find open dates on the seminar webpage. After the date and speaker have been identified, the program m office will handle all travel arrangements and scheduling for the on-campus visit. Attendance is recorded for each seminar, and is a consideration for maintaining good standing in the program.
