The Meister Lab recently traveled to New Orleans, LA to attend the American Chemical Society (ACS) Spring 2024 Meeting from March 17th – March 21st. Rosemary Eufemio (Ph.D. Student) presented a poster on “Lichen species produce highly active and stable ice nucleators”, while Emily Vernon (M.S. Student) presented on “Beyond Ice: Exploring How Antifreeze Proteins Interact with Lipid Membranes.” Lastly, Dr. Meister gave a talk during one of the sessions on “Functional Aggregation Enables Biological Ice Nucleation”.
