Two BMOL Ph.D. students, Preston Hazen and Sayeed Chowdhury, were both recently awarded a Sigma Xi Grant in Aid of Research (GIAR) of $2,500. The Sigma Xi GIAR program has provided undergraduate and graduate students with valuable educational experiences. By encouraging close working relationships between students and mentors, GIAR promotes scientific excellence and achievement through hands-on learning.
