The CURE Program is aimed at students and early-career researchers interested in cancer research and cancer disparities. This program offers funding for scholars to attend conferences, trainings, and other career development activities to help them gain valuable exposure, network with professionals, and advance their academic and career goals.
Important thing to note:
- Eligibility:
- Preference will be given to those residing in HCI’s catchment area (UT, ID, NV MT, WY)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be conducting or interested in cancer research (e.g. clinical, basic, behavioral, or population science)
- Award Benefits:
- Up to $2,500 in travel expenses
- Application Deadline:
- Applications must be received no less than 30 days prior to the intended travel
