Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area Symposium: November 13th, 2019
Boise State University’s Raptor Research Center, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management and the Idaho Army National Guard will be hosting the 3rd installation of the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area (NCA) Symposium.
The event will showcase research, conservation based projects, and partnerships associated with the NCA. Resource professionals, students, and citizen scientists will present short (15 minute) project summaries in an effort to expand on the historic work done in the NCA, stimulate new questions and partnerships, and identify data gaps that need to be addressed in the future. The intent of the event is also to facilitate interactions with university students, local agencies, NGOs, private corporations, and the general public. The target audience is students, current and future conservation professionals, and citizen scientists.
