The Awards Committee facilitates the recognition of outstanding faculty through the annual Golden Apple Awards. A form for students to nominate their professors is sent campus-wide in early March, and the Committee will meet to go over nominations soon after. Stay tuned for more updates, as plans are currently underway for the 2024-2025 academic year.
RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE IN INSTRUCTION
The Awards Committee works every year to provide recognition to faculty at Boise State University who go above and beyond in the classroom. Students submit nominations for professors who have made a positive impact on their education–and often hundreds of nominations are received, many for the same professor. By facilitating appreciation for our excellent faculty, the Committee aims both to amplify student voices on best practices in their education and retain top-notch talent in our departments.
