Air Sense

Eligibility: This “Juried Exhibition” is open to students in the Boise area in K-12 schools and college institutions, as well as staff/faculty members of Boise State University.

Entry Period: The Juried Exhibition begins on August 19, 2024, and ends on April 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time Zone. Entries submitted after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

How to Enter: To enter the Juried Exhibition, participants must submit a digital version of their original artwork via this submission form, along with their name, email address, and any other required information required in this form. If selected for an award or a memorable mention, physical versions of the entries will need to be delivered to the exhibition panel before the award ceremony. There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit.

Artwork Requirements: Entries must be original creations of the participant. Entries must not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights. Entries must communicate a scientific or technological aspect relevant to the theme of the Juried Exhibition.

Selection of Winners: Winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Art and Science Innovation Hub, “ArtSci”, at Boise State University. Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, artistic expression, adherence to the Juried Exhibition theme, and efficacy in scientific communication. The decision of the judges is final and binding in all matters related to the Juried Exhibition.

Prizes: Separate prizes will be awarded to different age groups of the participants. Prizes for K-12 participants will be awarded to the student’s classroom. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for cash or other prizes.

Notification of Winners: Winners will be notified via email within 5 days following the conclusion of the Juried Exhibition. Winners must respond to the notification email within 3 days to claim their prize. If a winner fails to respond within the specified time period, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Publicity: By participating in the Contest, participants grant ArtSci the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted artwork in the ArtSci website, in ArtSci advertising material, and on social media, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

General Conditions:
ArtSci reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these Terms and Conditions or is otherwise ineligible. The ArtSci Community reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Juried Exhibition if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its control impair the integrity of the Juried Exhibition.

By participating in the Juried Exhibition, participants agree to release and hold harmless ArtSci from any and all liability arising from their participation in the Juried Exhibition or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
