Objective: Explain the greenhouse effect.
The greenhouse effect refers to the action of having increased greenhouse gasses released into the environment, these gases and particles associated with pollution trap the heat created by the sun’s rays in the atmosphere. Having a healthy atmosphere is incredibly important for humans, we live in a delicate balance, and humans do not evolve quickly and require the right mix of gasses in the air to live. Meda also explains that the Northern Lights are ancestors and people shouldn’t be disrespectful. Poisoning the atmosphere would be disrespectful. (DeWitt)
