Call for Proposals

Seeking Curriculum Partners:  The Institute for Advancing American Values seeks collaborations with Boise State faculty from all ranks and from a range of disciplines to develop new courses or restructure existing courses that frame their content through the examination of the values that have shaped the Idaho and American experience and enhance civic and/or historical understanding among students.  See full description of the Call for Proposals at America at 250 Curriculum Initiative.

Proposal Timeline: Submission due date is November 15, 2024.  Email completed America at 250 Course Proposal Form to americanvalues@boisestate.edu.

We anticipate communication of final decisions by mid-December 2024 or early January 2025. The Steering Committee will also consult with the Registrar and the relevant college dean to ensure proposals align with university curriculum and college curriculum process.
