Sponsored by a generous donor, Boise State Listens is a signature program of Boise State’s Institute for Advancing American Values. This is a rare opportunity for audiences to listen—truly listen—to students from different backgrounds speak about their core values. We asked these courageous speakers to respond to the question: what do you value and why? And we asked them to speak about what they are for rather than what they are against.
The job for the rest of us is to listen to their deeply held convictions and to do so silently. It is that simple and important. This event asks us to hear people speak uninterrupted and without debate about what they value.
