Elysia Watkins, an undergraduate student at Boise State University and a former research volunteer in the Curl Agricultural Health Lab, has been awarded a fellowship through the Idaho Institutional Development Award Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) at Boise State University. As a Summer Research Fellow, Ms. Watkins will work full-time for 10 weeks with Dr. Cynthia Curl in the Curl Agricultural Health lab investigating factors associated with urine specific gravity among pregnant women.
As part of the fellowship, Ms. Watkins will attend professional development and scientific seminar presentations. She will also prepare a poster on her work that will be presented at the Idaho INBRE Summer Research Conference in Moscow, Idaho.
