[Bailey Mallard, Regional Admission Counselor]: Hey everyone! My name is Bailey Mallard. I’m the regional admissions counselor for Boise State University for the Idaho Falls, Pocatello Region. I was a Boise State graduate back in May of ‘21, and I studied English with a teaching emphasis so I can teach high school, but now I have the opportunity to serve you all in the eastern Idaho region. My favorite part about Boise State is the amount of opportunities that you have and all the activities that you can access here in the city itself. So whether that be attending football games, going to float the Boise River, which is right next to our campus or even just riding your bike around the downtown area, there’s so many different things for you all to do. My college tip that I would offer to you all is really just exploring the city and exploring whatever you’re passionate about, whether that be different activities, your major, and different things that the city of Boise has to offer. So now that I’ve introduced myself, I would love to know where you all are coming from. Go ahead and tell me your name, what you might be interested in studying when you come to college, and also what your hometown, what high school you go to, and what year you’re expected to graduate. If you would like to learn more about Boise State, go ahead and get connected with whoever your admissions counselor is and we’d love to answer any questions that you may have. You can also connect with me one on one. I’d love to set up that appointment for you virtually. We are so excited for you to connect with us, to begin your admissions journey towards becoming a future Bronco!
