[GRAPHIC: BECOMING A BRONCO MOVE-IN DAY]
[Karter, Film and Television Arts Major]: Hey future Broncos! We’re so excited to welcome you to our beautiful Boise State University campus. I’m Karter and I’m a film major from Idaho. And today we’ll get you up to speed on everything you need to know about making your residence hall, your new home away from home! First, keep an eye on your new Boise State email inbox for move-in instructions, which will provide you with all the info you need about, whereto go, how to check in, and your assigned move-in and arrival window.
[Video Description]: Families excitedly transporting their belongings through campus during move-in day with Boise State Staff assistance.
[Karter]: Move-in arrival windows are assigned to keep everyone safe and to ensure a speedy movement process, so please arrive at your assigned time. If your assigned move-in time doesn’t work. Just shoot us an email at housing@boisestate.edu, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Arriving early? We’ve got options for you too! Just fill out the early arrival request form located in your housing portal. Before you arrive, review the moving plans for your specific building, including where your short term and long term parking areas are. You may bring up to two helpers and two vehicles. However, please do not bring trailers or recreational vehicles—parking is limited. When your assigned move in appointment is over, please move your vehicle or vehicles to long term parking. If you didn’t get your Boise State Student ID card at orientation, stop by the info desk inside the Student Union building to pick up your ID card once you moved in. Your student ID is also your access card, which you’ll need to enter your building after the moving day ends. Once you’re all settled in, if you have any maintenance issues or need to pick up a package, just swing by the service desk located in your residence hall, or scan a work order QR code located throughout the building. Moving into your residence hall is just the beginning of an amazing journey here at Boise State University. Check out our events calendar to explore all the Bronco welcome events
taking place over the first few weeks of school. Have fun and enjoy year round activities in housing to help you connect with your fellow residents and make new friends! We can’t wait to welcome you to your new home;
and as always, go Broncos!
