Bronco Cribs | Keiser Hall

Ever wondered how Broncos turn their dorm rooms into cozy havens that feel like home? Welcome to Bronco Cribs! Each episode, we peek inside the rooms of a different Boise State student, uncovering their secrets to dorm room success. From space-saving hacks to study nooks that inspire focus, Bronco Cribs is your guide to creating a dorm room that’s not just functional but also reflects your personal style.

This time, we’re taking a peek inside Annika’s cozy single room in Keiser Hall. Annika, a first-year biology student, will share her expert tips for dorm living.

Keiser Hall consists of four-bedroom and eight-bedroom suites, perfect for the student who wants a mix of social time and privacy. Complete with a cozy common room, there’s plenty of space to hang out with friends and suitemates. For Annika, the standout feature is Rain, the beloved fish who has been a part of their living space since October. “She just makes the space a little bit more fun,” Annika says. Speaking of pets, all residence halls allow fish in bowls or aquariums up to 10 gallons. Plus, service animals, support animals, and service animals-in-training are always welcome.

One of Annika’s necessities for living on campus is storage. “I have a storage cube under my bed, and then some drawers for my closet. Just kind of helps things stay nice and tidy and just out of the way.” Having effective storage solutions is key to keeping your space organized and clutter-free. Consider using stackable shelves, under-bed storage containers, and over-the-door organizers to maximize your storage space.
