Bronco Cribs | Chaffee Hall

Calling all future Broncos! Ever wondered what dorm life is REALLY like at Boise State? Buckle up because Bronco Cribs is giving you the ultimate insider scoop. Each episode, we get exclusive access to a different student’s dorm room, exploring their unique space and the secrets to transforming it into a true home.

This episode, we’re heading into Chaffee Hall with Ash, a freshman theater major living in a double room. Come along with Ash as they share their tips on personalizing their space, along with the hidden gems that make Chaffee Hall a beloved part of the Boise State experience.

Chaffee Hall has a traditional residence hall layout. With Extra Mile Arena and Albertsons Stadium at your doorstep, Chaffee is a great community if you’re a student-athlete, or simply want to be near the heart of campus life, with the Student Union just a quick walk away. Another perk of living in Chaffee Hall is the Chaffee Late Night Grill. Ash adds that “it’s so nice to have for when the dining halls close and I’m either out late because of theater or I just forget to eat because I’m studying.”

Ash recommends a few essentials for living in Chaffee Hall. The first is under-the-bed storage to keep clothes you aren’t wearing, which saves space in your closet. Ash’s favorite part about her room is all of the space on the walls for posters and tapestries, which they say is “essential because it helps make the space feel lived in.”

That’s a wrap on our tour of Chaffee Hall with Ash! From the clever storage solutions to late night bites, it’s clear Chaffee offers a unique living experience.
