Accreditation Agencies and Directory of Schools

Accreditation is the act of granting credit or recognition by a governing body to an educational institution. Accreditation is necessary for any educational institution to demonstrate that it maintains suitable standards or quality. Boise State University only accepts an institution’s accreditation if it is fully accredited by certain approved accrediting associations. For a complete list of the accrediting associations used to evaluate and accept academic college-level credits and grades from transfer students, please visit Boise State’s Registrar’s Accreditation webpage. Otherwise, use the following tab links to locate accreditation agencies and a directory of schools.
