Fun Fact: Boise is home to one of the largest Basque communities in the United States. If you didn’t know, Basque Country is a region in Northern Spain. The interactive Basque museum located downtown has endless opportunities to learn more about the rich heritage. Visit “Basque Block” located between Capitol Boulevard and 6th Street on Grove for cultural celebrations, nightlife, and fresh paella dinners on the first Thursday of every month!

Springtime is the perfect time to get back out in nature. The Idaho wilderness is famous for great fishing, but there are so many places right here near the city; Ann Morrison Park, Warm Springs, and Lucky Peak Reservoir, to name a few. The Boise River, which runs through campus and downtown, gets stocked with rainbow trout by Idaho Fish and Game. The Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Club to meet others who share the same love of nature!

Treefort Music Fest

Are you a lover of music? Treefort Music Festival is a community favorite that welcomes over 500 different artists all over downtown Boise. Treefort isn’t limited to just music either, events feature standup comedians, dancers, filmmakers, and more. And if that variety wasn’t enough, our very own Broncos can be seen showcasing their work. With the Main Stage conveniently located in Julia Davis Park, Boise State’s “backyard”, students are just a quick walk from all the excitement. Taking place over five days, look no further for fun Spring Break plans! Choose between a full week or a day pass to enjoy all the good vibes Treefort has to offer.
