As you prepare for another year of academic excellence, the Office of The Dean of Students for Academic Integrity would like to provide a refresh of the resources they provide to faculty. Faculty members are on the frontline of addressing academic misconduct and promoting Academic Integrity for students at Boise State. Preventative measures are an important part of providing high quality learning opportunities for students.
Here are a few resources to consider as you prepare for the upcoming year:
- Familiarize yourself with Definitions of Academic Misconduct and think of potential violations that could occur in your class.
- Review/update your Syllabus to include Academic Integrity statements as you provide academic expectations for your students.
- Read the Instructor Quick-Guide so you prepare for the upcoming academic year in the event you encounter an Academic Misconduct incident. This can help prepare you if you are unsure of how to address it.
