This year marks the start of the third cycle of program assessment reporting for Boise State. Sixty academic programs have Program Assessment Reports (PARs) due in 2022-23; the complete PAR cycle is available online.
Some adjustments to PAR instituted during the pandemic will be continued for one more year, however, we will return to the May 1 deadline for PAR submission. Departments that offer FD courses have Foundations of the Discipline Reports (FDRs) due to the General Education Committee in the same year as their PAR.
We are offering three PAR organizing meetings (RSVP here) at which we will provide an overview of the 2022-23 PAR process and timeline and answer questions. University Foundations staff will also preview the reporting requirements for the FDRs.
In collaboration with the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), two PAR-related workshops will be offered September 23 and October 21. Register via the CTL website.
Questions about the PAR process or requests for support can be directed to programassessment@boisestate.edu. Visit the Program Assessment website for a complete view of the 3-year reporting cycle, timeline, forms, and deadlines.
Programs that submitted PARs in 2021-22 will be receiving their feedback reports by September 15.
