You may have heard some buzz about a new ‘Science Building’ at Boise State.
On behalf of VP for Research and Economic Development Nancy Glenn, VP for University Affairs, Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff Alicia Estey, and Provost and VP for Academic Affairs John Buckwalter we would like to provide a brief update on this item.
Boise State University has made a request to the State of Idaho permanent building fund for a new multipurpose science facility, and if successful, the request will provide a portion of initial funding. We know that Boise State University has numerous pressing needs in the STEM areas around teaching, research as well as collaboration space.
Based on the response to our building request, we hope to kick off discussions with units across campus about the use of the facility in Spring 2023, at the earliest. Please stay tuned for opportunities to contribute!
