Visual and Performing Arts
Foundational courses in the Visual and Performing Arts cover a wide range of topics and experiences. Students will examine how the arts have existed and thrived throughout the centuries, and how art can enhance their worldview. A diversity of viewpoints and cultural contexts are introduced and students are encouraged to find their own voice to describe these unique and valuable approaches to the arts. With the objective of fostering a lifelong appreciation of art, students will be asked to make thoughtful and critical assessments of art.
