Steps to guide the discontinuation process of a degree-level program.
- Once decision is reached to discontinue a degree program, work to submit the curriculum change through either the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, or the Graduate Council.
- Develop a plan within the department as to how to accommodate current students in the plan. This plan should include how students will receive communication that the program is set to be discontinued, as well as how to allow the students making reasonable progress to graduate.
- Contact the the Project Coordinator of Academic Planning, Jennifer Jayne, to receive guidance on submitting a Discontinuation Proposal to the Idaho State Board of Education.
