Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Hold
Students on academic probation may see a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) hold on their account. This hold restricts your Federal financial aid eligibility but does not prevent you from enrolling. If you believe you have extenuating circumstances, you are able to file an appeal with the Financial Aid Office.
SAP Holds
- GPA
- PACE
- Maximum Time
If you fail to meet any of these standards, you will see a SAP Hold on your Student Center. This hold will not prevent registration, but it will prevent you from receiving federal financial aid.
ADR advisors can assist students in submitting an appeal to the Financial Aid Office to request their eligibility for federal financial aid to be restored. There is no guarantee that the appeal will be approved.
