Bronco Learning Commons
The Bronco Learning Commons is a coordinated effort by the Advising and Academic Support Center and Albertsons Library to bring academic support services to students in a convenient central location. The space is outfitted with whiteboard tables, large rolling whiteboards, and mobile furniture to create a dynamic learning environment. All instructors are invited to hold office hours in the Bronco Learning Commons and can reserve tables for up to 15 weeks in advance.

Quick and Easy Activities for Student Success
This Quick and Easy Activity Guide provides instructors with 5-10 minute lesson plans that cover important academic success topics including metacognition, time management, and study strategies and is housed in a convenient Google site.

Peer Academic Coaching
Peer Academic Coaches (PACs) are undergraduate peers who provide one-on-one consultations with students that focus on developing successful academic skills and habits. Topics include improving time management and study strategies, test preparation planning, academic goal-setting, and organizing your college life.
Students can schedule an appointment with a PAC or visit drop-in hours in SMASH 107.

Request a Classroom Visit from AASC
The Advising and Academic Support Center is available to come to your class to facilitate brief, interactive presentations (5-20 minutes) around key academic skills. Presentations are facilitated by Peer Academic Consultants or professional staff with a variety of topics that can be customized to your syllabus.

Assignment Calculator
The Boise State Assignment Calculator breaks down projects into manageable steps based assignment types and the due dates you select. A step-by-step plan includes resources and “how-to” links to help students create a realistic timeline and make progress on large assignments in your course.
Instructors can also submit course-specific assignment plans to be added to the assignment calculator. Students will then have on-demand access to guided resources on complex or long-term assignments for your class!
