Parking Lot Sweeping
Starting Friday, November 20 and continuing through Wednesday November 25 the paved flat surface parking lots will be swept. No vehicles will be required to move but they may get dusty during the sweeping.

Event Parking on campus may impact you if you don’t plan ahead:
- On November 28th, December 5th, and 12th Boise State Basketball will be in full swing which will fill up the West Stadium and parts of the East stadium. Please plan accordingly.
- Towers general will be closed on December 4, 2009 for Morrison Center kids performance.
- Sunday December 6 the West Stadium will be closed due to an event in Taco Bell Arena.
Permit Sales are now working on the Website
The issue with permit sales on the our website has been resolved. You should be able to purchase any permits that are available for you to purchase online at this time. Thank you for you patience while we worked through this problem.
Season Baketball Game Parking Passes are available for
$55. Permits are valid for all regularly scheduled home games. Permits are
valid 2 1/2 hours prior to tip-off. Shuttle Service from the Lincoln Garage
to the Taco Bell Arena begins 1 1/2 hours prior to tip-off.
Follow the steps below to create a Guest Account If
you do not have a BSU ID.
1. Buy Permit link on the left menu
2. Click the ... "create a guest account" link on
the logon page.
3. When you have completed the required information click on the link to
logon or return to Logon Page and click the ... "click here to
log into it." link.
I-84 Updates:
The Idaho Transportation Department cautions motorists to expect lane
restrictions on I-84 between the Cole and Broadway interchanges this week.
One lane will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday
(Nov. 16-19). Crews will be working on the following days:
- Monday - Thursday: Hanging sign brackets and working on guardrail between the Cole and Broadway Interchanges.
- Thursday: Switching traffic to a new westbound off-ramp near the Orchard Interchange.
The Idaho Transportation Department wants your holiday travel to be both safe and hassle free this winter. Please keep in mind these upcoming construction activities over the next few weeks.
- Thursday (Nov. 19), westbound I-84 will be closed overnight at the Orchard Interchange from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews set girders for the new bridge. Flaggers will direct motorists to the off- and on-ramps.
- From Saturday (Nov. 21) until Wednesday (Nov. 25), one lane will be restricted on I-84 at night (10 p.m. to 5 a.m., and until 7 a.m. on weekends).
- Tuesday night (Nov. 24), flaggers will direct traffic starting at 10 p.m. as crews open the first section of the new bridge at Vista Avenue. All Vista traffic will be on the new bridge by Wednesday (Nov. 25) at 5 a.m.
- The old Vista Bridge is set to be demolished in early December, during which I-84 will be closed overnight under the interchange for six nights.
- On December 11, the Ten Mile Overpass will be removed to make way for a new interchange.

Temporary Parking Restrictions
Parking on the North side of Belmont St. between Michigan and Vermont Avenues and the East side of Michigan Ave. between University Dr. and Belmont St. will be temporarily retricted beginning Monday Nov. 2nd for the installation of a new natural gas line for the new Aquatics Center. The work will also necessitate the removal of the sidewalk along Michigan Avenue while the work is completed.
Road Work
- Monday - 11/23: Trenching North of Parking Structure #1.
- The first approach into the Morrison Center Parking Lot from the Multi-Purpose Building will need to be curtailed during this trenching.
- All other access points into this parking lot will remain unimpeded.
- Trench plate will be used to cover the Back Filled trench at the end of the day to guard against spalling and allow full unimpeded vehicle access to the parking lot.
- Tuesday -11/24: Trenching North of Barnes Towers crossing Cesar Chavez Lane
- Although access will need to be somewhat constricted curing cutting and trenching, traffic should be allowed access throughout these processes.
- Trench plate will be used to cover the Back Filled trench at the end of the day to guard against spalling and allow full unimpeded vehicle access.
- Wednesday - 11/25: Paving of areas trenched on Monday and Tuesday.
- Again access curtailed during paving at the Morrison Center Parking lot and will be constricted but not curtailed on Cesar Chavez Lane.

Free bus service is offered to all BSU students, staff and faculty, including ESL students with valid ID's and current bus stickers on all Boise Fixed line routes including the Garden City and Inter County routes -- 40, 42, 43, 44, and 45. However, service is not available on the Nampa fixed line routes -- 51, 52, 53, and 54. Bus stickers for your ID Card may be picked up in the Transportation and Parking Office or at the Information Desk in the Student Union Building.
