I. For admission to the program, an applicant must be in one of the following categories and complete the admission process below.
- Students who have completed the University core requirements and have nine hours of law-related classes.
- Students who have completed a baccalaureate degree (any discipline). Depending on the respective programs, these students may not need the law-related courses.
- Students who have completed 30 hours of college credit (primarily core classes) and have three years experience in a law-related position.
II. Application Process for the Program:
- Submission of a completed application form which is available in the Program Director’s offices or the Paralegal Studies Program office, located in the Public Affairs Arts West Building, Room 102F. Phone (208) 426-5244 to receive an application form by mail.
- Submission of academic transcripts; students must have a 2.75 GPA for completed academic courses.
- Submission of two letters of recommendation addressing academic potential and suitability for future employment within the legal profession.
- Submission of a written statement by the applicant regarding his/her interests in paralegal studies.
