Read below on how to get free tickets to Ann Patchett, author of this year's First-Year Read, Run, on Tuesday, November 17th 2009.

New Student and Family Programs is your resource for the entire First Year Experience. Whether you are just out of high school, transferring from another college or university, or coming back to school after some time away, we are dedicated to helping you stay, succeed, learn, grow, and graduate.
It is our dual mission to facilitate the successful transition of new students to Boise State University, and to improve the success and quality of the first-year experience for students. We seek to accomplish this through preparing students for university life‚ through providing educational opportunities, by assisting students with integration into Boise State's intellectual, cultural, and social climate, and through our inclusion and support of the families of current students.
