The Boise State University Trombone Choir is an ensemble of fourteen trombones, eleven tenor trombones and three bass trombones, playing both original and transcribed works for multiple trombone ensemble. The ensemble performs both classical and popular programs, and has been featured on Boise State University recitals, the annual Christmas Concert, in churches and in public schools. In March of 2002, the Trombone Choir was chosen to perform at the IMEA Conference. The group is composed of BSU music majors and rehearses once a week.
