Reset Your BroncoMail Password

Your BroncoMail password is the same as your BroncoWeb password. This password expires every 90 days. You will receive no automated notification your password has expired.

To reset your password, browse to the BroncoWeb Home Page.

The University requires all computer system passwords to be a minimum of 8 characters in length, expire no more than every 90 days, not contain significant portions of your account name or full name, not be a password you've previously used within the last year, and meet at least 3 of the following additional requirements:

A password containing at least 3 out of 4 of these criteria will be considered valid.

POP and IMAP

Before configuring your email client for BroncoMail, you need to ensure your Gmail account is configured to enable IMAP and POP access. In Gmail, go to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP to ensure your account is enabled for POP and IMAP access. Be sure to use your full email address (username@u.boisestate.edu) when prompted for a username.

In most circumstances, you will need to use your Google password (separate from your BroncoMail password) for your connection. You can set this password by browsing to http://broncomail.u.boisestate.edu/ and choosing Set your Google Password at the bottom-center.

Google Apps mobile applications allow you to view your e-mail on smartphones, as well as many popular cell phones.
