Through arrangements with Boise State University, teachers enrolled in some of these courses are able to receive professional education credit, which satisfies certification/recertification requirements through the State Department of Education, or fulfills salary level requirements through individual school districts.
Some courses are offered within special conferences either on or off the Boise State campus and online. We also offer some in-service courses during the summer, and three Weekend Master's Degree programs.
A selection of courses available via computer-based multimedia are offered for professional education, undergraduate, or graduate credit in conjunction with an educational vendor, Virtual Education Software, Inc. These interactive, multimedia courses for teachers are affordable, relevant, up-to-date and portable. Please check with the proper certifying agency prior to registration. Classes are offered during the first and second five-week sessions of summer semester.
If you need academic credit, these classes are also available for Undergraduate credit (494) or Graduate credit (594) as well.
For comprehensive information about credit options, cost, registration, and course descriptions, call Betty at (208) 426.5622 or go to www.boisestate.edu/distance/cbmm.
